Steppin Out Thick

Heres a weird problem a user flagged up to me the other day.

He had a simple, Monolithic (Concrete) Stair...like this one:




But we needed to make the stairs 500mm thick for blast purposes.  So he changed the parameter:



And got this:



Weird huh?  That first step is a doozy!  And the second ain't much better.

Any thoughts from the Global Revit Hive-Mind?

    I got the same results when I created this stair. It looks like you cannot make it thicker than 431.8mm.
    If I were you I would make the stair out of a family.
